The engine seems to be running fine for what it is (no black smoke, runs smoothly), so I think we aren't going to mess with it until there are actual symptoms, lest we make things worse somehow. However, it does seem to get crappy MPG compared to what many of you here report, though (~17.5 mostly city). The US spec Jeep Liberty CRD used the R428 engine from VM. Essentially, this was a bored out version of the R425, which was a 2.5L and was widely used in Europe. In the US Liberty configuration, the R428 made 150 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and this was largely in line with European configurations as well. Ref. GB. $ 1727.13. Chrysler Voyager 2.5i 0. (1986-1996) 10W-40 or 5W-40. Chrysler Voyager 3.0i 0. (1986-1996) 10W-40 or 5W-40. Every engine oil will have its viscosity grade labelled on the packaging.
