Sounds like this is similar to what I have in mind. I have a Humax Foxsat-HDR, with Raydon's firmware v4.1.2 installed (fantastic, thanks Raydon!) I want to put a new 1tb drive into the pvr, and the original 500gb, now 97% full, into an external SATA hd housing to playback existing recordings. I am thinking that one of WDs Black or Blue range
The problem is that any new firmware may not be placed on a download site as it is with the HDR, new firmware will be loaded via the internet onto the Humax or could be supplied by Humax directly to the customer
