Posted September 12, 2013. Hybrid turbo and bigger injectors will bring more power and you could get up to 200bhp out of the 1.6tdci 110, probably more out of the 1.8tdci. But it's simply not economical as, upgraded clutch, brakes and maybe gearbox will be needed and for the cost you may aswell sell it and buy the 2.0 tdci focus then remap to 170.

bayley84. 09 plate 1.8 TDCi focus with 79k on the clock. Few months ago it started making a metallic rattling sound which has progressively gotten louder to the point where it's now embarrasing. The noise only shows itself when the car is in gear, the clutch is out and the front wheels are turning.
